OmniSTAR DGPS corrections are based upon a network of reference stations all around the globe. These corrections improve the standard GPS accuracy to submetre (VBS) or decimetre (HP) level.

OmniSTAR-VBS is the OmniSTAR submetre level service. Thanks to VBS, positions can be measured with an error of less than 1 metre. This service is highly suitable for applications in markets such as Agriculture, GIS, Photogrammetry. etc...

But if more precise measurements are required for your work, OmniSTAR-HP offers the solution to that problem. This premium service is the latest dual frequency GPS augmentation service in the OmniSTAR family of network GPS solutions. It provides a robust and reliable decimetre level GPS service. OmniSTAR-HP accuracies have been demonstrated as better than 10cm 95% (X/Y axis) (2 Sigma).

Reliability

All reference stations have dual data connections to their network control centre. The service uses two up-links (primary and backup).
