To setup a Trimble Ag132 to lock
onto the OmniSTAR Satellite service To
setup a Trimble Pro XRS with TSC1 datalogger Hints
for quick and easy Subscription
- The first important thing is that you have a Trimble receiver with the latest
firmware version. Please call your Trimble dealer or OmniSTAR for the latest update.
Some subscription possibilities will not work with old firmware!
- Setup your Trimble receiver and switch it on. Make sure the receiver has a
lock on the OmniSTAR satellite.
- Important things OmniSTAR needs to know before they can subscribe:
- Type of receiver
- Serial number
- Type of activation you require
- Location
- Firmware of receiver
- Satellite service which the unit is locked onto
If you have a new receiver from the factory and you are using the receiver
outside the USA THEN CALL OmniSTAR TO ACTIVATE THE RECEIVER OVER THE LINK.
If you want a new subscription on a receiver used before then you have a choice
between a 24 digit code or a signal over the Satellite Link. This will work only
for an expiry date. If you want VBS Cells you HAVE to let it subscribe over the
Satellite Link. |
